BIKEPACKING
lac du bois
July 2024, I bikepacked the Lac Du Bois Grasslands with my partner Jill, and friend Colin. It was a great trip, although, Colin broke his derailleur halfway through the trip on Day 2, which made things interesting. He was able to make it a single-speed but every pedal stroke was met with resistance making it difficult on flats, but Jill and Colin shared the struggle and swapped bikes intermittently for the final ~80 km. I shot 2 rolls of film on my Nikon FM3a, Portra 400 and Cinestill 400D. I shot one role of Super 8 motion film as well on my Minolta XL601
